Gregory Arce started Clown Tears Productions as a way to formulate and produce shows for the public... Live, videotaped and filmed.

In 1995, his production company produced a show at Don't Tell Mama. The show and its producer (Greg) were reported in several papers in the New York area. The original collection of monologues titled This Monologue Is Not Right For This Show was later turned into a TV pilot called WOIDZ for WAMI, a local TV station in the Miami area. At the same time, Greg produced another TV pilot, It's Simply Magic, a live magic show to be shot in South Beach.

Greg has been associated with the entertainment field since the age of five. Starting as a professional magician, he performed at many of the Miami nightclubs, restaurants and hotels. He was featured in a Miami based television show called Music Is The Magic. Greg also produced full illusion shows and worked as a technical consultant for bands and variety shows. His college days found him studying theatre at Florida International University where he wrote, produced, directed, and starred in many shows (of course he also sold tickets, mopped the floors...). His first play, The Water Skiing Captain, was a Florida Playwright Festival winner. While at the university, Greg became an in-house writer/director and producer. His first video, FIU Blues, was an International Television Association (ITVA) winner. he also took part in the making of an award-winning video for Madonna.
